Privacy Policy
We take your privacy seriously. We only collect what is necessary, we tell you why, and we never sell your data.

We do not have a designated Data Protection Officer (DPO), as it is not legally required. For any questions regarding your data, please write to tratante@tratante.pt.
2. What data we collect and why
- Orders (performance of contract): name, address, email, phone number, and, if you request an invoice with a Tax ID, your Tax ID. This is used to process, ship, and track orders and to provide support.
- Invoicing (legal obligation): billing data and transaction history, to comply with tax obligations.
- Newsletter (consent): email and, if provided, name. This is used to send you news and campaigns.
- Restock alerts (consent): email and the item, color, and size you requested in the "Notify me" alert. This is used only to notify you when the item is back in stock.
- Contacts (legitimate interest in responding to you): what you send us via email, form, chat, or WhatsApp.
- Navigation (consent, except for essential cookies): data on how you use the site, collected via cookies. See point 5.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out up to that point.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by certified providers through the Shopify checkout. We never have access to your card details and do not store them.
4. Who we share it with
Only with those necessary for the store to function, and each processes data in accordance with the GDPR:
- Shopify: store hosting, checkout, and email delivery;
- Payment providers: transaction processing;
- Carriers (DPD and CTT): order delivery;
- Google (Google Analytics and Google Merchant Center): site visit statistics and product performance;
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): measurement and optimization of our ads;
- Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and session recordings with personal data hidden, to improve the site;
- Kbite: sending the restock alerts you request.
We never sell, rent, or share your data for third-party commercial purposes.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies, which make the site work (cart, checkout, security, and preferences) and do not require consent. We also use statistical cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and advertising cookies (Meta), only if you accept them in the cookie banner.
You can change your choice at any time under "Cookies" in the site footer, or delete cookies in your browser settings.
6. Transfers outside the EU
Some of these partners (such as Shopify, Google, Meta, and Microsoft) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the transfer is based on mechanisms provided for in the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions from the European Commission or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
- Orders and invoicing: 10 years, due to tax obligations;
- Customer account: as long as you keep it active;
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe;
- Restock alerts: until we send the notification or you ask us to remove them;
- Contacts: the time necessary to respond to and follow up on your request;
- Cookies: for the duration of each cookie, or until you delete them.
If you ask to delete your data, we will erase everything that we are not legally required to keep.
8. Security
We use secure connections (HTTPS), restricted access to data, and the security measures of the Shopify platform.
9. Your rights
You may request access to, rectification of, erasure of, restriction of, or portability of your data, object to its processing, and withdraw your consent. Simply write to tratante@tratante.pt.
If you believe your data is not being handled correctly, you can file a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.

We may update this policy. The version in effect is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update.
